Overview
DIY (also called Bring Your Own) is for existing Home Assistant users who want Sensa's dashboards and scenes without giving up the reins. As an experienced Home Assistant user, you can add the Sensa Control app and then install the Sensa Nomad integration.
You keep control of the hardware, the OS, updates, and remote access. Sensa installs dashboards, scenes, and automations on top.
Overall steps are as follows:
- Make sure your Home Assistant is running and up to date.
- Add any Home Assistant dependencies.
- Add the Sensa repository to Home Assistant.
- Install the Sensa Control app.
- Sign in and link your Sensa licence.
- Prepare any devices.
- Add the Sensa Nomad Integration
- Move on to Configure.
We support the Sensa app. We don't support your hardware or your Home Assistant install. Support is available through a Sensa membership on Patreon.
