Overview
The Nomad Appliance is our turnkey system, and the right choice for around 99% of people. Your server arrives pre-built and pre-flashed. You simply find a location to physically mount it, power it, turn it on and follow the prompts. There's no OS to install and no software to flash.
Overall steps are as follows:
- Mount the server.
- Connect power and network.
- Prepare any devices.
- Reconfigure
- Move on to Configure.
You don't touch the underlying Home Assistant, flash firmware, or manage updates. The server runs in kiosk mode, and we look after updates and backups for you through the Sensa dashboard. You need no Home Assistant knowledge: it just works and quietly looks after you.
