Studio 1.3 is a polish release. Studio now comes in a light theme as well as dark, with a toggle that follows you across the rest of Sensa, and opening a design that someone has shared with you is smoother, signing you in with your existing Sensa session so you can get straight to the build.

New in 1.3​

• Light and dark themes. Studio now has a light theme alongside the dark one. Use the sun or moon button in the top bar to switch between them whenever you like. Your choice is remembered, and it carries across the Sensa website, the shop and your account area, so everything stays in step.
• Smoother shared designs. When you open a design from a link someone has shared with you, Studio signs you in with your existing Sensa session automatically, so you will usually not need to type your password again. The design opens straight away, with a banner telling you whether you can view it only or also edit it.

Everything else​

The rest of Studio is unchanged from 1.2: browse the catalogue and add the devices you want, let Studio work out the power, network, wireless hubs and shopping list, read the result as a set of clear diagrams, and save, share or export your build as a PDF. A note on Premium​

A paid Premium tier, for installers and anyone who wants full manual control over a design, is on the way. It is not available yet.

Studio 1.2 is the first full release of the guided designer. Pick the devices you want, set a few options about your vehicle, and press Generate: Studio works out the power, the network, the wireless hubs, and the shopping list for you. This release adds clearer wiring diagrams, more control over how devices connect, and a tidier results page.

New in 1.2​

• Choose how each device connects. For a device that supports both Ethernet and WiFi, you can now pick which link it uses. Ethernet uses a switch port; WiFi keeps that port free. A new Prefer wired setting sets the default for the whole build, and you can override it per device.
• Two new diagram tabs. A Relays tab shows each relay and the devices it switches, and a Network (WiFi) tab shows everything that connects wirelessly, alongside the wired network. The wireless tabs have been reordered and renamed so each part of the system is easier to find.
• Integrated devices are handled for you. Devices that need a Sensa Core now show an INTEGRATED badge, and Studio adds the right Core (Lite, Plus, or Vision) to your design automatically.
• Browse the whole catalogue. Every category, including the infrastructure parts Studio would normally add for you, is now there to browse.
• A simpler cost summary. The results header now shows a single clear total for the build.

Choosing devices​

• Browse the catalogue by category and add the devices you want.
• Studio adds the supporting parts for you: converters, fuseboxes, network switches, wireless hubs, and a Sensa Core where one is needed.
• Set each device's location (which side of the vehicle it sits on), mark items you already own so they are left out of the cost, and choose which devices are switched by a relay.
• Tell Studio what mobile connectivity you need (4G, 5G, eSIM, GPS) and it only offers routers and antennas that fit.

Generating a design​

• One press of Generate resolves the wireless protocols, lays out the network, sizes the power distribution, and checks the relays.
• If two devices cannot work together, Studio tells you what to change before it generates.
• Change anything and generate again: each run replaces the last, so it is easy to experiment.

Reading the result​

• The design is drawn as a set of diagrams, one per part of the system: DC power, the wired and wireless networks, Bluetooth, Zigbee, infrared, relays, CAN bus, and AC power. You only see the tabs that apply to your build.
• A full shopping list with a single total, leaving out anything you already own.
• Plain-language warnings that flag trade-offs and explain the choices Studio made.

Saving and sharing​

• Name your build, then export it to a file or save it to a free Sensa account and open it again from any device.
• Open a design someone has shared with you, and take your own copy to carry on.
• Download a tidy PDF report, with a contents page, the diagrams, and the shopping list, to print or send to an installer.
